Zanzibar Magic Boutique Hotel
The Zanzibar Magic Boutique Hotel is set right on the spectacular white sand beach near Matemwe village on the north-east coast of Zanzibar Island. Eco-friendly and small-scale with only 19 rooms, the hotel’s design is inspired by traditional African and Zanzibari architecture.
It is built with the unique skills of local craftsmen using local materials like palm leaves for the thatched bungalow and bar/restaurant roofs and mninge, the local hardwood, for the carpentry. The hotel is set on the always pleasantly breezy east coast of Zanzibar Island.

Sea View Rooms
All sea view rooms are on the first and second floors and have magnificent sea views overlooking the tropical garden and the swimming pool. They are very comfortable – 35 meters large, air conditioned, all with large verandas equipped with outdoor furniture. There are doubles and twins, all with long beds and a seating area. There are small refrigerators and complimentary coffee and tea utensils plus safe boxes in the cabinets. Spacious bathrooms provide free toiletries and hair dryers.
Garden View Rooms
All garden view rooms are located on the ground floor and have magnificent views overlooking the tropical garden and the swimming pool. Partially the sea view as well! They are very comfortable – 35 meters large, air conditioned, all with large verandas equipped with outdoor furniture. There are doubles and twins, all with long beds and a seating area. Some of them are interconnecting – an ideal solution for families! There are small refrigerators and complimentary coffee and tea utensils plus safe boxes in the cabinets.
