Tarangire National Park is a gem among Tanzania's wildlife reserves, located in the northern part of the country. BEST TIME TO VISIT
The best time to visit Tarangire National Park depends on your wildlife interests:
June to October: Dry season, ideal for game viewing as animals congregate around the Tarangire River.
November to May: Green season, characterized by lush landscapes and fewer tourists, with excellent bird watching and the birth of many animals.
HOW TO GET THERE
Tarangire is accessible by road and air.
By Road: The park is about a 2-hour drive from Arusha.
By Air: There are regular flights from Arusha to the nearby Kuro Airstrip, located within the park.
