6 Day Marangu Route Climb Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Orientation
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel in Arusha – VENUS PREMIER HOTEL BB. In the evening, attend a briefing to review your upcoming trek and meet your fellow climbers, guides, and support staff.
Day 2: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut (2,700m)
Begin your climb at Marangu Gate (1,860m) after registration. Trek through the lush rainforest to reach Mandara Hut (2,700m), your first overnight stop. Enjoy dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut (3,720m)
After breakfast, ascend through the moorland zone to reach Horombo Hut (3,720m). The day’s hike offers stunning views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Rest and acclimate at Horombo Hut for the night.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut
