Mount Kilimanjaro can be climbed most of the year, although it is inadvisable during the rainy season, which is April and May, and during the short rains in November. The summit of Kilimanjaro is definitely a challenge, and there are risks involved, but it can be reached by any reasonably fit person who enjoys hiking, and reaching the summit will be an experience of a lifetime! The youngest person to make it was seven years old – the oldest seventy-eight!
There are seven official trekking routes by which to ascend and descend Kilimanjaro: Lemosho, Lemosho Western-Breach, Machame, Marangu, Mweka, Rongai, Shira, and Umbwe. We offer various tours for Mount Kilimanjaro Climb such as the common and popular Marangu Route, the Mount Kilimanjaro can be climbed most of the year, the steeper Machame Route, Umbwe Route, Rongai Route, and Lemosho Route. The Machame Route can be completed in six or seven days, Lemosho Route in six to eight, and the Northern Circuit routes in seven or more days.
The Lemosho Route can also be continued via the Western Breach, submitting via the western side of the mountain. The Rongai Route is the easiest of the camping routes, The Marangu Route is also relatively easy, if frequently busy; accommodation is in shared huts. The Lemosho Western-Breach Route commences on the western side of Kilimanjaro at Lemosho and continues to the summit via the Western Breach Route. Mount Meru is one of Tanzania’s most beautiful volcanoes, and it is the second highest mountain in Tanzania at 4,5685m, the fifth highest in Africa. The mountain is located within Arusha National Park, Tanzania’s gem. There are two huts available to climbers on the mountain and firewood is supplied. The best time to climb Meru is between October and February. But also June to September, while it is colder then.
