This is a full-day itinerary for Hunting with Hadzabe
5:00 am: Pickup from your hotel in Lake Eyasi and drive to the Hadzabe village.
6:00 am: Arrive at the Hadzabe village and meet your guide for the day. You’ll learn about their culture and way of life before setting out for the hunt.
6:30 am: Head out for the hunt with the Hadzabe tribe. They will teach you the traditional methods of hunting using bows and arrows, and you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at hunting small game such as birds and rabbits.
10:00 am: Return to the village with the Hadzabe and enjoy a traditional breakfast together. You’ll also have the chance to try some of the local fruits and vegetables that they gather in the forest.
11:00 am: Drive to the Dotoga village and visit their local market. Here, you can witness the unique trade practices of the Dotoga people and see the various items they sell, including livestock, food, and traditional crafts.
1:00 pm: Enjoy a traditional lunch with the Dotoga tribe and learn more about their way of life. Food can be an option.
2:00 pm: Return to the Hadzabe village and spend the rest of the afternoon learning survival skills, such as starting a fire without matches or creating shelter from natural materials.
4:00 pm: Bid farewell to the Hadzabe tribe and return to your hotel in Lake Eyasi. So you can go on your safari the next day.
